Remove all entry restrictions
According to the Vietnamese government’s Covid-19 regulations for entry, there are no longer Covid-related restrictions, which means that entry is fully restored to the way it was before the pandemic.
On September 7, 2022, the Government of Vietnam issued guidelines to ease the wearing of masks: Masks must only be worn at the following 6 points: medical facilities; medical isolation center; the location of the person being isolated; people with respiratory failure, children under 5 years old.
Regarding Covid insurance: international travelers must have insurance that covers COVID-19 treatment with a minimum liability of $10,000.
Upon entry, customs may not require the presentation of a certificate of Covid insurance, but for now this provision is still in effect under the law.

From May 15, 2022 stop the request for covid test when entering Vietnam
From 00:00 on May 15, 2022, the request for SARS-CoV-2 test is temporarily suspended before entering Vietnam according to the dispatch No. 416/CD-TTg of the Prime Minister of Vietnam.

From April 30, 2022, the application of domestic health declaration will be suspended
From 00:00 on April 30, 2022, the application of domestic health declarations will be suspended (domestic transportation, public places, restaurants, etc.).

From April 27, 2022, the application of medical declaration on entry to Vietnam will be suspended
From 00:00 on April 27, 2022, temporarily suspending the application of medical declaration for COVID-19 at all border gates of Vietnam for people entering according to Official Dispatch 2118/BYT-DP of the Ministry of Health.

From March 15 visitor must to have a negative test
Acording to the guidance of the Ministry of Health of Vietnam issued on March 15, people entering Vietnam need to have a negative test before leaving by air 72 hours if using RT-PCR/RT-LAMP method, or within 24 hours if testing method is used, only medical declaration is required upon entry, no need to re-test, no need for isolation.
